Profile
Since opening for business in 1982, the Nicole Miller flagship has occupied the same cozy brownstone in Soho; unlike the other Nicole Miller stores throughout the country, this first one remains unique in the loyalty of its clientele and the exclusivity of the designs its stocks. Whether shopping for a formal silk gown, a flashy cocktail dress, or a work-appropriate suit, you can find it here, along with vibrant accessories like animal print belts and sparkly beaded clutches. The flagship carries Miller’s popular bridal collection—the Madison Avenue location does not—as well as more relaxed items like jeans, casual tops, and cozy sweaters. As a compliment to her bold designs, Miller has recently started to design her own line of chunky jewelry, featuring dangly drop earrings and chunky twisted gold chains.

BridesmaidsNicole Miller’s bridesmaid line ($255–$385) favors bold hues and is popular with brides who want a pop of color in their wedding parties. Versatile, print-driven cocktail styles ($385–$700) are her forte.
Bridal GownsKnown for her colorful and amusing prints in the late eighties, Nicole Miller began designing a full-time wedding-gown collection after frustrated brides-to-be came to her in droves looking for a softer, more modern dress design. Miller’s understated, laid-back gowns ($595–$3,000) appeal to the free-spirited bride, and the bridal salon prides itself on quick turnaround. Alterations not included. By appointment only.
