This six-floor shopping palace—the only U.S. outpost for the popular Japanese retailer—divides its kaleidoscopic selection of merchandise into six artfully curated departments. On the top floor, beauty addicts stock up on ultra-high-enders, including La Base fragrances and color and skin care from Babor Day Spa, while house gifts and decadent treats abound on each level: tabletop accessories, vintage furniture, and bath and bedroom products—everything from elegant sake bowls and silk robes to necklaces and earrings by Gabriella Kiss. Downstairs, the colorful arrangements in the first-floor floral boutique are crafted with a new fusion of contemporary French and Japanese style. (One gorgeous bouquet mixed deep-pink peonies and magenta calla lilies with bamboo shoots and orchids.) You can complete your serene shopping experience in the heavenly Tea Box salon, a basement-level café serving 42 varieties of tea.
Wedding PlanningBrides come to this elegant Japanese export for compact, monochromatic, and unusually beautiful arrangements. Bouquets are often nosegay style, with blooms grouped tightly together with greenery. Signature decorations include a glass vase wrapped in cecropia leaves and bound with raffia. Bouquets run $150 to $300; centerpieces for small weddings start at $150.
