Made-to-order dresses are also available. Sample sales are usually June and December; open to the public. Alterations not included. Tailoring is done off-site.

Ever since Wang launched a new line of shoes, brides have one more reason to swing by her boutique, which is filled with variations on classic pumps and mules in all heights and levels of formality (from $450). By appointment only.

Wedding Rings

Vera Wang uses the modern notions of silhouette and proportion for which she is renowned in her dresses and infuses them into her ring designs. As you'd expect, her engagement and wedding rings are elegant and contemporary with an eye for detail. She updates the classic emerald-cut diamond with an unconventional east-west setting.

Bridal Gowns

The grande dame of bridalwear offers dresses (from $3,000) for every taste. Silhouettes range from simple A-lines to showstoppers with layered, ruffled skirts and include styles in colors that aren’t quite white. Made-to-order gowns start at $45,000. Alterations not included. By appointment only.

Lingerie

The queen of all things bridal now designs loungewear and intimates for the big day and beyond. You'll find delicate camisoles, nightgowns, and undies-the seamless boy-short panties are a best bet-but you'll have to head elsewhere for corsets and bras. Be sure to check out the vanilla charmeuse nightgown with sheer tulle bodice and grosgrain.
