Best Window Treatments
Martin Albert Interiors
9 East 19th Street
212-673-8000
You won't find ready-made shades at Martin Albert Interiors; everything here is strictly custom from Roman shades to upholstered cornices. Five staff designers provide an artful eye to guide you through the 250,000-plus fabric swatches. Custom-made fabric shades start at $250, but an elaborate, lined window treatment for a single window starts at $550. (Prices reflect measuring, construction, and installation, but not fabric.)
