It’s one-stop shopping with Shackleton, who offers both hair and makeup services. Her natural technique ensures that women look as good in person as they do in photos. Trials start at $125 for hair or makeup and $175 for both; day-of hair and makeup is $500; brides can book Shackleton for the entire day from $1,000.

Lilly Rivera is a pro at airbrush makeup, which is long-wearing and waterproof. Rivera works with women of all races and knows their particular makeup needs. A trial is $175; day-of makeup on location is $375 for the bride, and $175 for each additional person (three-person minimum).

This Gramercy Park salon specializes in black-tie wedding makeup-full in-salon services start at $150, and on-location styling for the bridal party begins at $1,500. Veteran makeup artist Francesca Roman’s hand-applied makeup lasts up to ten hours with touch-ups; airbrushed makeup lasts ten to twelve hours.

Specializing in the natural look, Raychel Wade works closely with brides on what she calls the "You on Your Best Day" package (three-person minimum, including the bride, from $700). Each additional person is $150. She also offers lessons ($175).

Christan Burran

Burran’s high-fashion work has appeared in Harper’s Bazaar and Rolling Stone, but she’ll create whatever look suits the bride. On the big day, Burran creates a calm atmosphere by burning candles and aromatherapy oils. Trials are $250, the bride’s makeup is $500, and each additional person is $250.

A five-time Emmy Award-winning makeup artist, Pearl specializes in gorgeous, natural looks. A trial is $250 ($100 of which goes towards the wedding-day makeup), and on-site wedding-day makeup for three people is $1,000. Pearl will do the rest of the bridal party for $250 each.

Francesca Maniace

Maniace is committed to clean, precise looks that won’t go out of style. With a background in fine arts and photography, she understands how to make a face camera-ready, and her airbrush technique makes sure that the makeup will stay in place all day. A trial is $150; wedding-day application for the bride is $400, and from $150 per person for the bridal party.

James Boehmer

Although high-fashion looks are Nars artist Boehmer’s specialty, he’s equally skilled at low-key jobs-he’ll sometimes use an airbrush to create a more tanned look ($300 per person). Consultations start at $200.

Jessica Liebeskind Make-up artistry

Brides won’t find an abundance of false lashes in this makeup-artist’s kit. Liebeskind (a Fashion Week regular (at Reem Acra, Badgley Mischka, and Amsale) likes to keep things practical, natural, and timeless. To make sure her soft and subtle aesthetic clicks with her client’s, she suggests booking a "chemistry trial" ($250). Wedding-day application from $1,000.

Jill Harth Cosmetics

Having spent two decades producing international beauty pageants as well as working in film and television, Harth uses airbrush techniques to transform a beleaguered complexion into a blemish-free face. A two-hour trial application is $150. Wedding-day rates are $395 for the bride; each additional client is $125.

Keri Berman

Berman is known for both her friendly professionalism and her contouring and highlighting. Consultations are $250. Wedding makeup application for the bride and one other person is $1,000; each additional person is $200.

Kimara Ahnert Makeup and Skincare Studio

Although Nigara is primarily a runway makeup artist, he still finds time for wedding work. The bride should bring her dress and a digital camera to the consultation ($300). If it’s a big wedding party, Nigara will show up with two assistants ($1,000 for the bride and an additional person; $150 for each extra guest). For $1,750, he’ll stay the whole day.

Meredith Carre

This certified aesthetician is happy to help brides with a skin-clearing treatment or waxing regimen, and her light makeup application keeps skin from feeling layered and heavy. Trials cost $50. She will travel anywhere for on-site applications and touch-ups ($225 for the bride; $125 for each bridesmaid).

Canu, an Italian makeup artist, is known for bringing light into her clients’ faces with a soft and natural base. Packages, which include the bride and two others in her bridal entourage, start at $800.

As the former assistant to the late, great Kevyn Aucoin, Duvall is known for creating natural yet sophisticated looks using minimal makeup. Wedding-day makeup is $275 for the bride, and $95 for each additional person.
