Angelique Bridal Salon

In addition to a selection of European and American designers—including Gemy Maalouf and Sarah Jassir—this salon offers a service for brides who want to create their own looks. Custom gowns are available in 12 weeks. Prices range from $1,700 to $8,000.

Angelo Lambrou

Lambrou, who creates mostly custom gowns, is famous for his draping and wrapping skills. He also enjoys sitting with brides himself in order to integrate personal touches like a piece of grandmother’s lace. Prices start at $4,000.

Bergdorf Goodman

Jet-setters flock to this department store’s Art Deco wedding salon for gowns by Ines Di Santo, Oscar de la Renta, Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier, Marchesa, and others. Gowns start at $5,000.

BHLDN

This vintage-inspired bridal line offers a finely edited collection of wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, and accessories, including designs by Badgley Mischka, Nicole Miller, and others. Bridal gowns are $600 to $3,600, bridesmaid dresses $160 to $500. By appointment only. (good value)

Birnbaum Bridal

This atelier features three lines that range from simple, classic designs to more elaborate custom numbers. The Steven Birnbaum Bespoke collection is the most upscale, with designs ranging from $3,200 to $9,500. By appointment only.
