The Checker Cab

67 West St., nr. Noble St., Greenpoint; 866-866-3256; thecheckercab.com

Though the city’s iconic checkered cabs were retired in the 1990s, a few still exist. Those looking to make a grand entrance (or post-ceremony escape) can do so in a beautifully restored antique car. The extra-roomy backseat is particularly helpful with a flowing wedding gown. Rentals start at $195.

FilmCars

718-748-6707; filmcars.com

FilmCars has an extensive inventory of restored antique and vintage automobiles dating from as early as 1910. For a classic retro look, there’s a 1966 Fort Mustang convertible; for vintage-themed nuptials, try a 1923 Model T.

Regal Carriage, Inc.

516-732-1567; regalcarriageinc.com

For some brides, Regal’s Cinderella glass-pumpkin carriage (from $1,200 for three hours, excluding tips), which is drawn by two white horses, is a dream come true. For the rest of us, there’s a lower-key Victorian carriage (from $750 with only one horse).
