You want to try it, but yoga still seems a) annoyingly trendy, b) possibly New Agey, and c) crowded. Take a class at Pure Yoga ($25), the new yoga emporium imported from Hong Kong. There are twenty types of yoga on the schedule, over 100 classes a week, and teaching begins at 6 a.m. and lasts until 9:30 p.m.; the sheer volume makes it the best place to try Vinyasa, Iyengar, or what have you, in a non-crowded classroom with good teachers. If you don’t like the class, it’s a nice place to hang out, with rain showers in the locker room and a lounge for relaxing.
