The real time warp at this retro neighborhood theater doesn’t come from the posters of bygone screen icons around the compact lobby or the Tron-era graphics that appear during the preshow warning to keep quiet. Rather, it comes when stepping up to the single outdoor ticket window, where admission runs only $6.50, all day, every Tuesday and Thursday. The discount also applies to shows before 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and the first shows before 2 p.m. on weekends. And even a full-price ticket is $9.50, $1.50 less than the nearby Court Street megaplex. The films are largely independent, with some family stuff thrown in, so there’s something for everyone.
