Sundial-Schwartz works mostly for decorators (whose names you may recognize from shelter magazines), contractors, and architects—but “privates” are welcome. Whether you need new glass for a picture frame or an elaborate, beveled-edge mirror, the adroit craftsmen here can tackle it. The most basic, 1¼4-inch-thick glass, custom-cut to protect a tabletop, is $9 per square foot; mirror is $10; and 1¼2-inch glass, for self-supporting tabletops, is $24. (Larger pieces like shower enclosures carry extra charges, as do details like beveled edges.) The real extravaganzas, though, are the stunning “antique” custom-made mirrors, priced at about $25 per square foot, with a $75 minimum.
