This beloved annual gift bonanza started as a DIY event and has become a must-visit for shoppers looking for the sort of quirky finds that Etsy (one of the event’s sponsors) has built an empire on. This year’s festivities will take place at four different locations, kicking off with a market at the Brooklyn Art Library on the weekend after Thanksgiving. This will be followed by a week-long set-up at the Chelsea Market that will also include interactive elements and craft demonstrations. Things will wrap up with pop-ups in NoHo and Brooklyn Heights on consecutive weekends. And note, it pays to show up early for this one: There will be goodie bags for the first 20 purchases each day.
