The guys behind Death & Co and Nitecap have opened One Fifty One in what used to be a basement bar of the same name (but with numbers), turning it into a ‘70s cocktail spot decked in checkered tiles, red booths, and a stone wall covered in gold. A lineup of random bar snacks like Sigmunds pretzels, pastrami on a bialy, and pickled mangoes takes up a tiny corner of the menu; the rest is dedicated to several variations of Old Fashioneds, Daiquiris, and fun signature cocktails like the Negroni Gone Way Wrong with lemon sorbet and prosecco, and the Radler, made with grapefruit and beer then mixed with vodka, Campari, or tequila into what they refer to as “the Gatorade of Europe.”
