Profile
With its stunning three-story indoor waterfall and sleek, subterranean wet lounge, Great Jones Spa made a splash with the fashion crowd when it opened in fall 2004. Since then, the feng shui–designed spot has added an organic-juice bar next door and augmented its already lengthy treatment menu with offerings like purifying “skin food” facials using the cult organic product line, Alkaitis. To replenish vital nutrients to the skin, they also offer the Hydra Facial, which cleanses, exfoliates and extracts impurities. The coed spa (a favorite of grooming icons like Brooke Shields) features nearly a dozen massage and skin-care rooms, but the real star here is the water cure on the lower level. Free for spa visitors with tabs over $100 ($55 for those not purchasing other treatments), the luxe setup boasts a plant-filled atrium adjacent to a hot tub, cold plunge, river-rock sauna, and chakra-light steam room.
Bridal
With water cures and hot-stone saunas, this serene spa is a best bet for
relaxation. In the VIP room, brides and grooms can enjoy dual massages and a
private Jacuzzi, as well as the Pure Fiji Coconut Sugar Glow body scrub ($155).
