Built in the late '20s, this Theater District hotel is bedecked with Art Deco details, from the historic façade to the radiant elevator door design to the postal letterbox in the lobby. All of the rooms are fully renovated, decorated in warm tones and feature a kitchenette, as well as fee-based extras like high-speed Internet, Web TV and Nintendo. The business center and front desk also offer computer and fax services, and there is a gift shop in the lobby. The Belvedere Café, retro luxe with red velvet banquettes, serves breakfast only, American buffet- or Continental-style. For lunch or dinner, the hotel has its own entrance to the festive Brazilian steakhouse Churrascaria Plataforma. Servers carve prime cuts of beef, lamb and pork at the tables, making their rounds until diners flip their table cards from green to red to signal that they're full!
