Profile
This outlet of the booming BLT franchise is a doppelgänger of BLT Steak, on 57th Street. The sleek zebrawood tables are the same as the ones uptown, as are the large circular lamp shades. The meal proceeds according to the expansive, expensive, and by-now-familiar BLT formula. If you have a taste for beef, lots of sauces (about eight), and endless varieties of potato (six), this is not a bad thing. The simple roasted beets are recommended and the top-dollar steaks are fine (the ten-ounce American Kobe rib eye costs $92).
ExtraThere are a handful of uninspired seafood dishes, so if you tire of beef, order the lemon-rosemary chicken.
