Profile
This Rockefeller Center seafood shrine has a split personality: The Adam Tihany–designed dining room shouts seashore with a bubble-covered floor, while outdoor seating melds with the Rock Center ice-rink festivities. The fish is so fresh that the menu notes the name of the boat that caught them; "a la plancha" means they're seared on a special grill that is supposed to excel at retaining moisture and flavor. Kitchen equipment aside, the results are indisputably delectable, as are appetizers like mussels in a Thai red-curry broth.
ExtraOutdoor seating available during the summer at "Sea Side," which serves small plates $7-$17
