Profile
Membership has its privileges at Soho House, among them a private rooftop pool, cinema, spa and, of course, restaurant. This members-only club (which, despite its name, is located in the Meatpacking District) caters to celebrities and much of its allure is in its exclusivity. And while civilians are allowed to stay at the hotel, room rates range from several hundred to over a thousand a night in order for guests to gain access to the club's amenities. The restaurant's opulent décor is punctuated by a 39-foot Chesterfield sofa, chandeliers, and vintage collector's chairs. Given the luxurious environs, the upscale yet understated restaurant is shockingly affordable—though the cuisine rivals that of many top restaurants. If you insist on joining the club, visit Soho House's website and download a membership application—assuming the annual membership fee doesn't deter you. However, it's probably easier (and definitely cheaper) to befriend an existing member, who can invite you as a guest.
BrunchSat–Sun, 11am–5pm.
