Profile
With Castor & Pollux, Kerrilyn Pamer has created a women's apparel boutique with a bevy of beautifully feminine (but not frilly) fashions. Trained as an interior designer, Pamer worked for Martha Stewart before turning her talented eye to clothing and accessories; now, she curates a petite store to help stylish New Yorkers build their wardrobes. Favoring classic pieces over anything trendy or fashion-forward, the result is an eclectic mix that looks simultaneously contemporary and vintage. The Filippa K line exhibits precise tailoring, while Risto Bimbiloski knits are more textural and youthful. The silk-screened hoodies with the store's logo—a pair of conjoined galloping horses—are particularly popular. Pamer also sells leather wallets and gold and silver jewelry, much of it created by local designers.
SalesBiannual sales happen in January for the fall collections and August for the spring. Markdowns start at 20% and can go as high as 70%.
