For six days after Hurricane Sandy, photographer Natan Dvir documented the waterlogged, the flooded, the piled-up, the overturned, the uprooted. A year later, he revisited the same scenes at the same times of day.
Top row, from left: The Battery Park Underpass, Manhattan. It was reopened by November 14, 2012.
Middle row: Battery Gardens restaurant, Manhattan, which took in ten feet of water. It hosted its first wedding since the storm on November 9, 2012.
Bottom row: Beach 119th Street, Rockaway Park. A year later, the street was almost back to normal.
