One of a dying breed, Stern will clean, re-tape, re-cord, or replace slats and pulls on almost any blinds, even vintage ones—anything for which he can get parts. He works two ways: You either ship him your blinds or arrange a house call. The latter carries a $200 minimum charge, so he suggests “saving up” small repairs till your blinds need cleaning, then doing everything in one go.
