Co-owners Tanya Sheikh and Ivan Gilkes have a blue-fur tee ($920 by Aza Ziegler), a reversible bomber ($895 by Nikki Chasin), or neoprene short-shorts ($348 by Steven Tai) for you. The duo supports indie designers, so most of the selection you find here will be one-of-a-kind.

This tiny art-and-objet shop has all the eclectic artwork you need to liven up your home. A risograph of pink power strips by David Brandon Geeting would look great next to that succulent-laden sill, while graffiti-inspired Fuck N Shit prints, by Jack Ridley, could liven up a drab dorm. Some images have been printed on silk scarves ($120), while others are reproduced museum-shop style on postcards ($2 each) for tacking above the bed in four-by-four grids.

The amazing cashmere sweaters here are knit the old-fashioned way—at a Scottish mill that’s more than two centuries old—but there’s nothing fusty about this knitwear boutique. With silhouettes that are tweaked classics—cropped-and-fitted women’s cardigans ($435), trim men’s V-necks ($549)—and colors ranging from basic black to deep teal and orange, the sweaters look modern but not trendy, a bit like the clientele’s Céline bags.

It’s the perfect place to buy stylish men’s clothes. Yes, the designers (and prices) are intimidating—$225 elongated sleeveless tees by Rick Owens and $650 denim-suspender trousers by Japanese street brand Visvim—but the owners are refreshingly approachable at this tin-ceilinged Williamsburg space.

It’s rare for such a teeny fine-jewelry shop to deliver such a range of chunky and dainty, vintage and edgy. The original store is in L.A., and owner Laura Freedman plays to both low-key Brentwood and bold New York types: Anita Ko ear cuffs (from $400) and black-diamond-trimmed jade cocktail rings by the Brazilian Carla Amorim ($4,600) alongside sweet birthstone locket charms (from $35) equally suited to kid and grandma.
