This may be the age of male vanity, but don't expect a man to know where to buy facial toner. Unless, that is, he's been inducted into the cult of Kiehl's (40 percent of the customers are guys). The small East Village shop houses an impressive collection of motorcycles and a full-sized stunt plane, alongside exotic-sounding products like White Eagle shaving crème ($13.50 for 5 oz.) and Klaus Heidegger's All-Sport Everyday shampoo ($21 for 16 oz.). Kiehl's proves that a man can have his Rare Earth Oatmeal Milk facial cleanser and feel like a macho speed junkie, too.

GREAT DEAL: If the prices at Kiehl's are too intimidating, as of next month he can run down to the local drugstore for the debut of Neutrogena's men's line (Astringent After Shave and Skin Clearing Face Wash, both $5.99) — and all he'll miss is seeing Steve McQueen's vintage Harley.
