  Professional pluckers emphasize the importance of eyebrows in framing the face. So why do they insist on making them so small? Yes, stray hairs and unibrows should be eliminated, but the keys to a great eyebrow are a gorgeous shape and a natural size. Robin Narvaez at Borja Color Studio stays close to natural lines and never waxes or trims ($45 for the first visit; $40 for each follow-up). She’s tweezed Jane Fonda and Holly Hunter, but reserves most of her time and concern for her “girls,” many of whom are waxing victims and perpetual overpluckers she puts “on probation,” making them wait for damaged areas to grow back before she takes more hairs away.
