Best All-American Snack

  • Terrance Brennan's Seafood & Chop House

The humble baked potato has taken the spotlight at Terrance Brennan’s Seafood & Chop House. The impressive 30-count Idaho potato is baked in a sea-salt crust and delivered to the table on a wheeled trolley. The real spectacle begins when the waiter lifts the lid off the cast-iron vessel, releasing a wonderful aroma. The salt crust is carefully broken with a wooden mallet, and the potato is ceremoniously removed, cleaned with a little brush, split open, and then filled with your choice of condiments. It’s a lot of drama for a baked potato, but how else to justify the price ($9.95)? .
