The pools of AIRE Ancient Baths

AIRE Ancient Baths
88 Franklin St., nr. Church St.; 212-274-3777
You don’t have to travel to Italy to do as the Romans do: Just visit Tribeca’s Aire Ancient Baths. The Aire Valentine’s Experience package includes their thermal bath treatments—taking you through four different temperature-controlled pools, a steam room, a propeller jet bath, and a salt-water pool in under 90 minutes—as well as a 30-minute massage and a special toast for $110 per person. Want to splurge? They also offer a Red Wine Bath Valentine’s Experience, with a private soak in a tub of red wine and a 60-minute massage, in addition to a trip through the bath circuit, for $240 per person.

TriBeCa Beauty Spa
8 Harrison St., nr. Greenwich St.; 212-343-2376
Choose from one of four romantic couples packages to celebrate your day: Love Is Like a Wild Rose ($395), a one-hour Swedish massage with rose oil and a rose-water spa pedicure; Enchanted Passion ($525), a 60-minute massage with vanilla oil, a 45-minute facial with an anti-aging peel, and a manicure and pedicure; Dreaming of Love ($325), a 75-minute Swedish and hot stone massage; and Glimpse of Heaven ($140), where you can indulge in a chocolate spa pedicure, which includes a scrub, a chocolate mask, and a leg massage.

Spa @ Eventi
Eventi, a Kimpton Hotel, 851 Avenue of the Americas, nr. 30th St.; (212) 904-1855
Visit the ecofriendly Spa at the Eventi Hotel in order to participate in their “today’s date is your rate” deal: Bring your partner in for your choice of a 50-minute treatment—which includes anything from an Urban Therapy foot massage to a Man About Town facial—and the date is your price: A visit on February 1 is $201.13, a visit on February 2 is $202.13, and so on. It might work out best for early birds, but if you fell behind on Valentine’s Day plans, don’t worry: The special is available for the entire month.
