Twin Towers Job Expo
Armed with resumes and patience, thousands of job seekers braved the lines (from Seventh Avenue to Eight Avenue, half a dozen people deep) into Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, October 11 for the city's Twin Towers Job Expo. Companies ranging from Ernst & Young to J. Crew were on hand to recruit potential employees, many of whom had worked at the World Trade Center or in nearby buildings. |
