Triplicity Flowers

This floral boutique often incorporates exotic orchids such as vanda and paphiopedilum (lady’s slipper) into its arrangements. The designers here draw inspiration from nature and fashion to create modern forms that are rich in color and texture. Centerpieces and bouquets start at $125. (good value)

Verde Flowers

Trained at the New York Botanical Garden, Brooklyn-based floral designer Bridget Reale dotes on each stem in her romantic, vintage-inspired arrangements. Visions-Decor

Co-founders Sora Lee and Anthony Brown have designed stylish, creative floral arrangements for dozens of happy couples, as well as some celebrities. They pride themselves on bringing each couple’s vision to life, and their versatile style can range from classic traditional to chic modern. Prices upon request. By appointment only.

VSF (Very Special Flowers)

For more than 30 years, this charming shop has specialized in English country-garden style—think tight arrangements of European garden blooms. Its understated aesthetic has earned a following: Sarah Jessica Parker sought out VSF to create bridesmaid bouquets for the first Sex and the City movie. Prices upon request.

Zezé Flowers

A favorite of Upper East Side hosts, this Brazilian florist creates exquisite arrangements with a variety of brilliantly colored flowers. The designers here currently favor shades such as orange, hot pink, and gold, but they can work with any couple’s palette. Centerpieces from $200; bouquets from $250.
