Élan Flowers

Elizabeth Ryan Floral Design

For almost 30 years, Ryan has been translating clients’ visions and transforming spaces to spectacular effect. She creates environments with flowers, lighting, linen, and furniture; she can also be hired for floral design only. Prices upon request.

Emily Thompson Flowers

The sculptural background of this florist informs the vessels she uses in her ornate architectural designs. She sources flowers locally when possible and works with foragers to find wild materials, often incorporating nontraditional elements such as fruit, acorns, and feathers. Designer Jessy Wolvek’s training in Japanese flower arranging is reflected in her neatly constructed bouquets. She draws inspiration from diverse vintage styles ranging from French countryside to Art Deco, selecting blooms in a way that always feels balanced, beautiful, and thoughtfully conceived. Fleurs Bella

Creative director and founder Bella Meyer (who happens to be the granddaughter of famed modernist artist Marc Chagall) approaches each project as an art installation. No two weddings she designs are ever the same. Meyer uses seasonal wildflowers, organic flowers, and recycled containers whenever possible. Bouquets from $280; centerpieces from $150. (ecofriendly)

Floralies, Inc.

Traditional designer Konstantin Panagopoulos uses fragrant flowers such as viburnum, lilacs, and hyacinths in abundance for arrangements that are more than visually striking. He never takes on more than one wedding per weekend (about 26 a year). Bouquets are from $300 and centerpieces from $350.
