- Cozy’s Cuts For Kids

1416 Second Ave.; 212-585-2699
When it comes to getting your toddler a trim, the priority isn’t just a stylish cut: To make it through the ordeal without tears, tantrums, and fidgeting can seem like a miracle. Cozy’s has lots of distractions (from superhot Webkinz to custom-made simulated Porsche barbers’ chairs) and specially trained stylists who can handle everything from trimming bangs to a fancy updo. Unlike the revolving staff elsewhere, most hairdressers here have clocked at least ten years at the salon. While you won’t go wrong at any of the mini-chain’s branches, the Upper East Side location is the newest and arguably the best, whether your child’s mane is extra-curly or superfine. Haircuts are $29, but come prepared to spend more on adorable barrettes or house-brand hair products.
