  The growing Bologna-based chain WP Lavori recently merged with all-American brand Woolrich. Which would explain why Lavori’s first North American outpost is such a hit among the neighborhood’s “cool dads.” An earthy rainbow of everyday Woolrich shirts ($135) in checked flannel and cotton herringbone commingles with zip-up Baracuta jackets in water-repellent shades of pastel ($390), Levi’s 501s ($240), and Palladium high-tops ($65). The staff looks as if they stepped out of the Inventory magazines ($20) that dot the raw-brick space, and they’re more than willing to show you how to pull off one of those Argentine tie-waist “Faja” belts from Industry of All Nations ($22).
