The next time you need to get out some pent-up aggression, step up to the plate at the Frozen Ropes Baseball Center and imagine that it’s the bottom of the ninth, the bases are loaded, and it’s all up to you. Up to five at a time can rent out one of the seven softball or baseball cages ($40 for a half hour, $75 for an hour). Serious sluggers will want to head for the king of all cages known as the ProBatter ($70 for a half hour, $120 for an hour), where a virtual pitcher, complete with El Duque–esque windup, throws everything from low-and-inside sliders to fastballs up to 100 miles an hour.
