It's hard to find a video-game arcade where you're not besieged by furry mascots or offered weed. For this reason, Broadway City, a sparkling, overdone cornerstone in the renovation of 42nd Street, is outstanding. With a New York-themed interior as brash and garish as the games you'll find inside, the arcade is irresistibly fun, from the pitch-perfect Whack-a-Mayor carnie game upstairs to the faux-Yankee Stadium room of sports consoles in the back. Then again, if it's a particular game you lust after, find the object of your desire at www.classicgaming.com/locations, where junkies can track down a vintage Galaga machine (at a Nathan's in Yonkers) or the rare Crime Fighters coin-op (in a Krispy Krust in Brooklyn).
