When Christine Ebersole, fresh from her Tony triumph in 42nd Street, returned to the cabaret stage for the first time in over two decades, she chose Arci's Place, where, Stephen Holden wrote in his glowing Times notice, "the whole room levitates in the sweet bubbly mist of her comic energy." Not only is Arci's a comer, but it's on the move: In May, owner John Miller and his crew will relocate to an as-yet-unspecified room in midtown. Count on him to maintain his tradition of first-class talent at less-than-the-Café Carlyle prices. In the meantime, catch original Hair star Melba Moore in her cabaret debut, beginning March 20.
