Drew Souza considers his store, Industries Stationery, to be a kind of couture service for stationery. And indeed, the choices are modern, clean, and design-driven. No heavy ornamentation here, just a very cool selection of papers, note cards (including matte-coated and metallic ones), and colors (its color scheme changes twice a year) more likely to be found in a graphic-design studio than a card shop. And the fonts -- light-years beyond Times New Roman -- make a very mod statement on whichever papers you choose. Six fonts are named after seventies sitcom characters (like Rhoda Morgenstern and Endora), ten others are named after drag queens (from Joey Arias to Varla Jean Merman). It’s hard to pick just one. Résumé services are not available -- so don’t even ask.
