  You cast a wide net when you bill your rock-and-roll party as a night for “gay men, Satanists, and metal enthusiasts.” It’s no surprise then that this party packs a diverse crowd into snug East Village bar Heathers every third Thursday. Catering to a gay metal contingent that’s otherwise overlooked in nightlife, hosts Brandon Stosuy, a Pitchfork editor, filmmaker Joshua Sanchez, and music writer T. Cole Rachel spin everything from spooky electro to sludgy doom. And with a beer and a shot going for $8, the occasional leather-clad go-go dancer undulating on the bar, and a 10 p.m. start time (for those who like to get their carnal selves in bed at a decent hour), there’s plenty reason to raise your devil horns.
