While breweries are bubbling up citywide, most are cold, concrete-floored spots where there’s little to do but drink. That’s not the case at this bustling homespun taproom that opened in Port Morris in October. Come weekends, beer geeks crowd the white-tiled tasting room, settling into squishy sofas, battling it out in Foosball, and pounding pints of Tropical Session IPA and spicy, fruity Belgian Pale Ale ($5 and $6 each) as well as limited-edition elixirs. When the weather’s fine, folks will flock to the 5,000-square-foot backyard—located beneath a railroad trestle—to fling cornhole bags or simply commandeer picnic tables.
