Although Nagoya bills itself as a fast-food restaurant, there's
nothing assembly-line-like about the food. Each dish is painstakingly
prepared and artfully presented. Check out the a la carte sushi
menu, where you can choose between yellowtail, salmon, eel,
tuna, crab and a host of other options ($1.35 - $5.75). There's
also the special rolls section, which offers deluxe and regular
sushi and sashimi rolls for $10.95. All three types of tempura
(chicken, shrimp and vegetable; $7) are outstanding and the
numerous teriyaki dishes ($7) also travel well. For larger orders,
try one of the Party Pleasin' Platters like the Party Tray ($37.50):
chicken, beef and salmon teriyaki, shumai, tempura and Tokyo
fried chicken.

Despite being completely devoid of greaseusually considered
an essential flavoring in empanadasthese fist-sized, dough-wrapped
concoctions are addictively delicious. Although everyone has
his or her own favorite, the cooks report three clear winners:
creamy broccoli, mozzarella and ricotta; warm and gooey ham
and cheese; and the chicken breast in béchamel sauce
(all $3.50). Breakfast empanadas come stuffed with sausage and
eggs, or veggie and eggs ($3.50) and for dessert, they overflow
with cherries, apples or guavas ($1.75).

individual pizzas ($7.50-$8.95) can be topped with any combination
of mushrooms, pesto, garlic, and all the usual meats. There's
even a low-cholesterol version comprised entirely of fresh veggies.

its own vegetable garden growing out back, all of its ingredients
taste like they were just plucked from the earth. Savory samosas
($2), hearty matar ($5.25) and saag paneer ($5.25) leave you
swooning and sated. The meat dishes, particularly the lamb curry
($6.50) and shrimp vindaloo ($8.95), combine the perfect amounts
of creaminess and spice. All the curry dishes ($5.95-$6.95)
can be modified to suit your taste budsmild, medium or hotand
come with rice or nan, salad and raita. There are many biryani
choices too: vegetable, lamb, goat and shrimp ($5.95-$8.95)
and for dessert there's mango ice cream ($2).

dish. Real mashed potatoes with garlic and butter ($2.50), whipped
sweet potatoes ($2.50), deep-dish cornbread ($1.05), macaroni
and cheese ($2.50)
the list goes on and on. If your waistline
can stand it, the jumbo brownies ($3.25) and pecan pie ($3.50)
are highly recommendedone chocolaty and thick, the other luxuriously
filled with sweet treacle and nuts.
