BEST OF NEW YORK

ESPN Zone: It even has monitors over the urinals.

While the ESPN Zone is Gotham's best damn sports bar, period, a bar doesn't need some jock's jock hanging overhead to be a good place to watch the game. Give us unobstructed views, tasty wings, and a clientele all wearing the same shirt as us, and we're fans for life.

Team Spots
That said, for every New York team, there is a bar. Bronx Bomber buffs get bombed at Dorrian's Red Hand, as do the Yanks themselves on occasion. The Mets' best off-season move was their skipper's opening up Bobby V's Sports Gallery right near Shea. Jet-friendly Time Out Sports Bar offers a menu ranging from nachos to T-bones. And you'll find the Big Blue crew -- and, often, sack daddy Michael Strahan -- at the Park Avenue Country Club. A slap shot from the Garden, the Harp Bar & Restaurant is ideal for watching the Rangers, while Blondies, where the wings are hot, favors the Knicks. The first-place Nets? They're for real, all right. They're also from Jersey, so we're not going to watch them.
